We are landscapers. But we wanted to emphasize our hardscaping preference, because it's our jam. But what is hardscaping? We're so glad you asked! Hardscape is what it sounds like, landscaping but with hard materials. More specifically though, it includes anything in your landscape design that is NOT alive; leaving the remaining soft and living aspects of your landscape in the softscape category.
So landscaping truly can be summed up in this simple equation... hardscape + softscape = landscape.

We have installed brick pavers in so many different varieties and ways it is difficult to even make a list. These have included patios, pool decks, stairs / steps, walkways, sidewalks, front landings, water features, retaining walls, etc. The options are endless.
Along with these hardscape designs, often outdoor lighting is a beautiful addition, and one that is much easier done in the midst of the installation rather than after the fact. We are able to complete the lighting and electric as well. Larger structures such as gazebo or pergola installation require all hands on deck for construction. We are able to get this up in a fraction of the time it might take a homeowner alone. As far as routine lawn maintenance, we are happy to help with fertilizer or herbicide application, tree trimming, sod or seeding, and grading. Lastly, snow removal. Because we live in Chicagoland. Technically anything can be utilized as a hardscape material. Rocks, bricks, concrete, stone, deconstructed granite, etc. Pavers themselves can even be composed of many of these, each giving a different look and feel. We will go over the specific advantages and disadvantages of the different types here, but really we think the first thing for you to consider is what aesthetic you are hoping for... traditional? gardenesque? industrial? Know this will significantly narrow down our options and then we can help you find that perfect product for your specific landscape.
